At Bruster’s, we believe that ice cream is one of life’s great simple pleasures. It gives us a chance to slow down, appreciate the good things, and enjoy a quiet moment with the people we hold close. We use only the finest ingredients available, and we add them to our products in generous quantities. Our ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbets and ices are all made fresh in the store each day, providing a creamy, rich flavor that we think you'll find superior to the mass-produced products sold in supermarkets and served by many roadside ice cream stands.

Owner Grey Jennings, a retired chemical engineer, fell in love with Bruster's Ice cream while visiting his daughter in Atlanta. He was instantly hooked when his family went for ice cream and he tried the flavor Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, for the first time.  He immediately realized that Bruster's makes a great product and that people would love it.  Soon after, he decided to buy into the franchise and open three stores in the Fredericksburg area.  The first store opened in Garrisonville in May of 2004.  In September of 2004 the second store was opened in Fredericksburg.
